Our Programs
Be A Budd offers young people different ways to get involved, give back, and make a real difference in their communities. Whether it’s volunteering, fundraising, mentoring, or recognizing others doing good, every program helps young people discover something simple but powerful:

It feels good to do good.

BAB Community Collective
Youth volunteering together to support families and organizations in our community.

The Community Collective brings young people together to support local organizations through volunteering, service projects, and community initiatives. Collective members work alongside trusted community partners to help families, create connection, and make a positive difference across Calgary.
Through these experiences, members learn that even small actions can have a big impact.

What members do:
-
Support the Christmas Toy Drive - Each year, Collective members help organize and support a Christmas Toy Drive in partnership with the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter, helping provide gifts and holiday support for families experiencing domestic violence.
-
Through the "Waiting Together" initiative, Collective members will work with local school age children to create encouraging messages, activity sheets, and community displays for medical waiting areas within the Southern Alberta Prostate Cancer Centre, reminding people that even during difficult moments, they are not alone.
-
Collective members volunteer with the Calgary Food Bank and also work alongside SuperHEROS players during community service days, helping sort food donations and support families across Calgary.
